Panasonic Launches Its First Solo Microwave Range In India
Introduces mechanical and digital models in 20 litres capacity.
Panasonic recently announced its foray into the Solo microwave segment in India. The all new power packed models are especially designed for young Indian families, youth who live away from their homes in hostels as PGs etc and users whose chief requirement for a microwave oven is to heat/re-heat food.
The solo range allows quick heating of food and basic cooking. The two new models are available in 20 litres capacity.
These Solo microwave ovens, NN-SM255W and NN-ST266B come with mechanical and digital controls respectively. These models are designed to offer everyday convenience with features like Auto Menu for cooking quick meals, Vapor Clean for easy cleaning and are super easy to operate.
Mr. Gaurav Minocha, Head- Home Appliances, Panasonic India said, “The solo microwave range is especially designed for the working class and targets the youth in India. It is also targeted towards the consumer who wants cooking to be hassle-free, quick and cannot use gas stoves. NN-SM255W is the model with easy to use, mechanical knobs and comes with Epoxy coating on the inside cavity walls. This coating is easy to wipe clean after use and is Anti-Bacterial. Available in white color, this is the perfect model for first-time buyers.
NN-ST266B is a sleek black 20 litres Digital model. Equipped with 51 Auto Cook Menu, it automatically sets the Image of NN-ST266Bpower level and time for any pre-set recipe that you pick. Instead of guessing at cooking times and temperatures, the user needs to just select a menu and press the button to get his/her meal. There are 5 power levels to choose from which lets users to set various settings for different type of recipes. It also has a Child Lock feature which allows user to lock the Touchpad while in operation, hence preventing any mishap if unsupervised children happen to touch or fiddle with the keypad. The overall design is sleek and compact, thus is in harmony with every kitchen interior. In addition, this stylish model is equipped with Vapor clean technology which makes cleaning hassle-free.
Panasonic NN-SM255W is priced at INR 5790 and NN-ST266B priced at INR 6390. The solo range will be available at Panasonic stores from 20th July 2016.
