Newly Unearthed Clip Shows Steve Jobs Imitating US President FDR

Late Apple CEO plays Roosevelt, rallying Apple "troops" against erstwhile rival IBM in a 1984 video.

Steve Jobs never ceased to amaze us with his charisma when he was around, and his legacy keeps amazing us, even today. Known for his theatrics while making presentations, the famous former CEO and Co-Founder of Apple Computers has once more been making rounds in the news with a new video that shows him impersonating former US President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The fledgling company, in 1984, was facing an uphill task, standing up against mighty rival IBM.

Former Apple employee Craig Elliot, who is now the CEO of Pertino Networks, posted the video. The video named 1944, is set during World War and shows Jobs as FDR, rallying "Apple" troops against IBM. It was supposedly made at an estimated budget of $50,000 at the time, which comes to around $111,000 (~Rs 5.9 million) today, to fire up an international sales force at a meeting in Hawaii. Check out the full-length video, which plays for just under 9 minutes, and marvel at the attention to detail that has gone into its making.
