FLYPRO Launches Voice-control Sports Drone XEagle On Kickstarter

The UAV includes features like voice control, one-button control on smartwatch and automatic obstacle avoidance.

 

FLYPRO,  a pioneer in  global intelligent sports drone industry has  launched  XEagle on the popular crowdfunding site Kickstarter. The hobbyist drone has proven to be an eye catcher at leading global exhibitions including the International Drone Expo (IDE) and CES on the back of several innovative features including voice control, smart watch control and auto obstacle avoidance.

Open air sports hobbyists no longer need to worry about taking a 360 degree selfie when they concentrate on outdoor sports activities. In addition to hands-free control including voice control, one-button control on a smart watch and automatic obstacle avoidance, the FLYPRO XEagle simplifies UAV control. The new navigation mechanisms allow the UAV to accurately stay at the same height above the operator as he or she ascends and descends whatever terrain they are on, and, hover over and accurately follow any selected object while maintaining a precise distance from the object. Auto obstacle avoidance ensures flight safety during use.

The FLYPRO XEagle will be available in four versions: XEagle Lite, XEagle Sport, XEagle Advanced and XEagle Professional. Specific features and functional configurations vary depending on the version. XEagle Advanced and XEagle Professional offer professional remote controllers, differentiating between the needs of amateur and professional hobbyists.

XEagle plans to raise US$100,000 on Kickstarter with a minimum crowdfunding contribution of US$259. FLYPRO plans to start shipping the XEagle Lite and the XEagle Sport to crowdfunding contributors worldwide on 30 June and the XEagle Advanced and the XEagle Professional on 30 August 2016.
