Samsung Announces New Variants Of Galaxy J5 And J7

The budget smartphones now get the premium feel as they feature a metal frame.

 

Samsung has recently announced two new versions of its popular budget smartphones, the Galaxy J5 and J7. Even though these smartphones lie within the budget range, they come with a metal frame which make them look more premium.

The smartphones were unveiled in China last month and are expected to be priced somewhere around $255 and $320, which comes around INR 15,300 and INR 19,200 in India. However, the price tag is not yet officially declared in India.

Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016)

The Galaxy J5 (2016) comes with a 5.2 inch 720 Super AMOLED display while it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone comes powered by a 1.2 Ghz quad core processor and includes a 16 GB internal storage, and 3,100 mAh removable battery. Coming to the camera division, the J5 sports a 13 MP shooter in the rear and 5 MP front-facing sensor for beautiful selfies.

Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016)

This smartphone comes with a 5.5 inch 1080p Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.6 Ghz quad core processor coupled with a 2 GB RAM. Along with this, the new variant of J7 sports a 16 GB internal storage. The camera setup is pretty much similar to the Galaxy J5. The smartphone packs a larger 3,300 mAh battery.

While these details have been revealed, the company is yet to announce the availability of these smartphones in India and other regions.
