Jio's ScanBox To Activate New Connections In Minutes

This technology allows you to get a Jio connection activated in just a few minutes unlike other carriers that take up hours together.

 

Reliance Jio is all set to launch its much awaited 4G network soon. Though the company had an employee launch back in Dec 2015, the full commercial services are yet to make it to the customer. They are expected to roll out some time soon this year.

However, with this expected roll out, Jio has come up with an interesting way to activate SIM cards, which activates the connection in just a few minutes.

Reliance has been lately installing a new item called 'Scanbox' at its various pan India digital stores. The box allows to place the smartphone and scan the required documentation files through the app pre-installed on the device.

So, how does this 'Scanbox' works?

An executive at the Reliance Digital Store will have to click photos of the Customer Acquisition Form (CAF) along with those documents required in place of the photo ID proof using Scanbox.

Then, the executive will upload the documents directly to Reliance Jio's servers. The connection will be activated within few minutes, unlike many other carriers that take hours together to activate a new connection.

This is definitely an interesting technology and we are all waiting eagerly to check out how fast can the Jio activation process speed up.
