Google Plans To Strengthen Enterprise Presence In India
The company has announced to provide $20,000 worth free credits for Cloud Services valid for one year.
Internet giant Google has recently announced new initiatives with an aim to strengthen its enterprise presence in India.
The company has also announced that its main focus would be on startups in the country.
On this front, the company has announced that $20,000 worth free Cloud Services' credits would be given out to chosen 1,000 startups in the country.
However, the free credits would be for the period of no longer than one year.
On the other hand, Google will also be providing free consultation and training to these startups.
Having said this, Google has certain criteria which the startups will have to meet in order to receive funding or be eligible for the credit.
In case if you didn't know, Google already provides their cloud services to companies like Flipkart, Paytm, Jabong and Myntra in India among over 2 million paid businesses.
However, the company is now planning to significantly increase the number of users.
Google's apps for businesses include Gmail, Hangout, Docs, Analytics and Google Vault.
