Acer Launches Two New Smartphones; Plans To Assemble In India

The new smartphones are pretty impressive considering the price and specifications.

 

Acer has launched its new smartphones in India , dubbed as the Liquid Z530 and Liquid Z630S with price tags of Rs 6,999 and Rs 10,999 respectively.

The two new smartphones which are quite pocket friendly will be available for purchase through e-commerce site Flipkart.

Speaking about the specifications, the Z530 comes with a 1.3 GHz quad core processor along with a 5 inch display, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB memory, 8 MP front and rear cameras and 2,490 mAh battery.

On the other hand, the Z630S comes with a 5.5 inch display screen, 3 GB RAM and 32 GB memory, 8 MP front and rear cameras while the battery is of  4,000 mAh capacity. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa core processor.

Adding more, the company has announced that it would be assembling the two new smartphones at the same facility where the company is already manufacturing computers in Puducherry. It is worth noting that the company has invested around USD 10 million (Rs 65 crore) to start assembling the smartphones from next month.

The company has also announced that, in a quarter, the capacity would be around 2.5 lakhs, which the company expects to increase in future.
