Popular e-commerce portal Flipkart has recently partnered with smartphone retailer Spice Hotspot to bring its smartphone portfolio offline.

Yes. With this new move, the e-commerce site is planning to set up exclusive experience zones at Spice Hotspots across the country.

It is being said that these exclusive experience zones will be providing live demo phones on display helping out those people who are not much tech savvy.

With this move, now, customers who are not much tech savvy can visit the Spice Hotspots before they actually turn up on their Flipkart app to book the smartphone.

The company is calling this as the assisted e-commerce model where the retail stores' staffs would be assisting customers in buying the phone from the Flipkart app. This definitely looks like a new move by the company to reach more customers.

Flipkart has also further added that customers will be able to take the delivery of the phones even at the stores too.

While this definitely helps the not-so tech savvy people, we feel these exclusive experience zones to be more helpful in those areas where online shopping is still not much popular, probably in Tier-3 and Tier-4 towns.
