Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Now Available For Pre-Order At Rs 59,990

Sony will begin shipping the smartphone by the 7th of November.

Announced at the IFA Berlin, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is indeed one of the most premium devices you can find in the Android realm. While its mirror-finished looks do look expensive, it is the “world’s first 4K display on a smartphone” tag that it will be remembered for in the years to come.

And after the launch event last week, Sony’s Xperia Z5 Premium is now available for pre-order on Flipkart.com, starting from a hefty Rs 59,990 for the 32 GB version.

The smartphone does pack in everything under the sun and everything you would expect on an Android flagship smartphone. Again, it is the only smartphone that will let you view your 4K recordings on a 4K display.

While many will call it overkill, the design does look premium and considering that it begins shipping in Silver and Gold before Diwali, these could make for some pricey gifts as well.

Sony is indeed banking on its 4K display, fingerprint sensor (that hides behind the power button) and 200 GB of expandable storage capacity to attract buyers. Oh yes, and let’s not forget that extremely quick camera module with Sony’s Hybrid Autofocus and the 23 MP sensor sitting behind it.

Not everyone is going to go in for the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, but those looking for something exclusive, will surely find the Z5 Premium a smartphone worthy of its premium price tag. For the rest, Sony also has the Xperia Z5 with a Full HD display that retails for Rs 52,990. And apart from the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge+, nothing really comes close to this record holder.
