Nintendo and Sony better watch out, as NVIDIA is all set to enter the handheld gaming arena. Named as Project SHIELD, the upcoming console which has been unveiled at CES 2013 is based on the Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) platform with Google Play support. At the heart of the device is NVIDIA's newly announced Tegra 4 chipset, which the company boasts to be the fastest mobile processor in the world. The console will sport a 5" multitouch screen with pixel dimensions of 1280x720 attached to a full-sized gaming controller (much like the Xbox 360's remote).
