19th Feb 2014Do you fight to control the TV territory at home? Well, if you own a smartphone, there's solution to these daily skirmishes. Yes, I'm talking about live TV apps that let you catch up with your favourite programmes. If you have reliable 3G connection, these apps ensure that you won't miss any cricket match even if you're travelling. Streaming videos eat up a lot of mobile data, so use Wi-Fi whenever possible.
DTVIndia
Developer: Datta Gample
DTVIndia gives access to the biggest catalogue of live TV channels. We're not sure if the developer has struck any deal with the channels, but as long as we get to watch it for free, we're not complaining. The app not only offers all the popular TVs from India, but there's also a separate section for Pakistani channels. And trust me, it's fun watching those shows from accross the border. The only thing we didn't like about this app is the lack of stability.
