30th Jun 2016If your parents ever complain about how you’re always glued to your phone, now you can tell them, “At least I’m not marrying it!” Because that’s what artist-director Aaron Chervenak did.
“My smartphone has been my longest relationship. We connect with our phones on so many emotional levels. We look to it for solace, to calm us down, to put us to sleep, to ease our minds,” Aaron said on a YouTube video. “To me, that’s also what a relationship is about,” It seems congratulations are in order as this ‘longest relationship’ culminates in marriage.
There was even a ring; the bride had one attached to the back of her white cover (dress? I’m confused). The wedding took place at the Little Las Vegas Chapel, with the chapel owner Michael Kelly officiating. According to him, Aaron wanted to make a point about how dependent people are on their phones, through this marriage.
“At first it was like what? And then I was like... Alright let’s do it.” Said Kelly.
We wish the bride and groom all the very best for their wedded life, and hope that the groom keeps his vow to ‘be faithful to her’. At least until the next model comes out.
